An unusual thing that happened

Today, I am so pissed off and mad. Heart and lungs bursting out of my body; tears crawling out from the corners of my eyes. I just cannot control my feelings and seeking why things did not turned out the way it should normally turned out to be.

In afternoon, as usual a few of us friends and I went to play basketball. We usually train and play matches together, therefore we called ourselves a team. A wolf team, because we dare to challenge players which are stonger and more skillful than us. During break time, a few people showed up with a ball, provoking us from far. " It looks like a team which we trashed sometimes back. Are they seeking revenage?" I asked in dismay.

Not off from my thought, they were happy with us and wanted to have a match. We agreed and it started off very soon. As usual, I scored the first ball. However, it took longer than usual. Right after my first score, they managed to break through our defences and shot a ball into the net within 30secs! Not only that, we showed mistake after mistake during the first half. Therefore, leading to a score of 24 to 34.

"What happened to our defence?!" I questioned. No one answered, no one spoke a word. " Let's stop fooling around and play serious. We are not going to lose." Captain announced. However, we still did not manage to chase up that much of score. Having a score of 45 to 46 at the last 1 min, losing by 1 points. However, i still got one last attacking chance.

I got the ball in my hand, down with my head, I whisper to myself, "I'm not letting them win." I charged forward, breaking through oppent's defences and shoot the ball out of my hand. It was a lay up, and in the history of matches I played. I never missed a back hand lay up before. During that spilt second, everyone's eyes were locked on the moving basketball. It hit the board, rolled on the metal ring and dropped out!

The whole team was shocked, including me. I cannot beileved what I just did. I kneed on the ground with both knees, shaking my head violently,telling myself that this is not true.

We lost.... because of me....
